I see no mention of Commandos and Logis in the devblog... Not saying they wont be in Delta, but Im curious to know what Devblog you're reading, because its obviously not the same as the one I am. |

Well there is certainly a progression from Sidearm to Light to Heavy weapons in terms of general weapon behavior.
SMG > Combat Rifle > HMG
Flaylock > Mass Driver
Scrambler Pistol > Scrambler Rifle
Magsec SMG > Rail Rifle
Bolt Pistol > Sniper Rifle > Forge Gun
Ion Pistol > SHotgun? |

Ehhh I dunno, the whole thing with the Ion pistol is the large magazine...but regardless I think you see my point. Id actually like to see the charge shot on the Ion pistol operate like a shotgun, and then offer an "Assault" verion to be a stand-in for the Gallente SMG/Mini Plasma Rifle. Sidearms are basicaly mini version of the light weapons, which in turn are mini version of Heavy weapons. Its actually a pretty good design philosophy to run with. |

Its actually a pretty good design philosophy to run with. hmm a charged shot useing like 25% to 50% of the clip and in turn it fires multiple projectiles at once? hmm interesting idea.. i was just gonna hope they lower the Heat on the charged shot to mayybe 60%-75% so you can follow up with a few shots
Id like to see the charge shot use multiple bullets and fire like a shotgun, with the heat buildup reduced so you can actually not overheat from a full charge (maybe just short of it so follow up shots cant happen with a full charge, but you wont get screwed on overheat delay?
And then just a full auto, TMP sort of deal where there's no charge shot but its fully auto to make up for lack of Gallente SMG.
